Whats the benefit of steel-cut oatmeal?

They say it doesn't spike your insulin, but I compared the box I bought to the packets of plain instant, and the fiber count is the same (4 grams per serving). The only different is that the steel-cut has 1 gram more soluble fiber than the instant. 1 gram doesn't sound like much, so what in steel-cut oatmeal exactly makes this any more appetite satisfying and better for you than instant?

It cooks up thicker and bulkier and takes longer to digest

anyone know alot about trees?

IF it was necessary to kill a mature tree, which of the following methods would be most effective?
1) saw a deep cut about halfway into the trunnk on one side?
2)REmove most of the center of the truck through a small opening
3)Drive a steel spike through the bark to thecenter of the trunk

4)bore a gike through the center of the trunk

5) cut a deep groove below the bark around the tree trunk
