Have you ever bought a knife that looked cheap, but turned out to be good?
A couple days ago, I bought an "Arrow OTF" knife, which is a copy of the "Dalton Cupid". I thought, no big deal, it's some cheap clone, but I'd get it for kicks and giggles. The thing is made by R.O.C. knives ( Republic of China, which is not China, it's a seperate country ) and it is actually pretty good. It has a reliable mechanism, with very few complicated moving parts. The screw aren't the best, but you're not going to pop it apart, and the blade is 440 Stainless. I'm actually glad I bought this knife. I have one other assisted opener made by R.O.C. Has anyone else bought R.O.C. knives, or something else that looked cheap, but was actually good?
