Weapons Legal in California?
Hey im 14 turning 15 and i live in a dangerous part of Orange County, California and so i have to carry weapons wherever i go for my own safety. I know that switch blades are illegal within the state and i try to refrain from carrying them. I guess that what i am asking is what type of concealable weapons are legal to carry in the state of california for a minor such as myself. I am not asking for the terms on usage of a concealed weapon for i have no intention to use ANY weapons except for a time of a life or death situation i am just asking which ones are legal to carry? Such as brass knuckles? Pocket knives? Butterfly knives? Chains? Lock tied to a Bandanna? ect ect.....
If you feel that unsafe in your neighborhood I highly suggest you take up martial arts. Amazing what you will learn, I kid you not. Turn your body into a weapon, besides the fighting skills you will also learn the all important methods of self discipline and ways to keep yourself from getting into situations which require the use of semi-lethal force to get out of.
Remember all the protective paraphernalia you mentioned besides being illegal requires a fundamental degree of skill and knowledge in their use. Without such skills your opponent is gonna take it from you and shove it into a place I won't mention. Plenty of dojo's around... highly suggest you find one.

where can i get a katana stand?
i've seen many horizontal table stands and wall hangers but i got one that i want to stand it up i've seen these stands infact budk has one but it looks really cheap i was wondering where i could find one for 20-30 US dollars including shipping i would prefer a natural wood grain and a round base (this is the cheap one but shows the general idea http://budk.com/product.asp?pn=48%20UC0098)

What primers can i use on a wood sword?
Im making a wooden sword (the zanpakuto named tensa zangetsu from the anime series BLEACH that i found on www.deviantart.com by typing in swordmaking guide made by a guy named chioky) and I want to see what primers can I use on it. Im not sure if there is such a thing as wood primer, but if there is I also want to know what other primers can work on wood.
it depends on if you want to paint or stain for your final finish. if you want to stain then the previous answer of liquid sandpaper would probably be the best. if you want to pain you can use any primer. the two i perfer are B.I.N. and Kilz. they can both be purchased anywhere you buy paint. the purpose of a primer is to seal the wood and make the paint adhere better. i have also used flat paint as a primer in a pinch.

Please help me choose a knife sharpener?
I did a search and there are questions similar to mine, but have specific criteria. 1) First, it must be affordable. Something around $ 70, or preferably less. 2) Must be reliable - No reason to spend money on something that will spend some months of purchase and the need for a replacement. I need this to last at least a year. 3) Must be able to handle both regular and serrated edges. (I have a few knives kitchen knives and a few fishing. I've seen some people proposing a set of sharpening stones, but you do not know how to use them properly. Thank you very much in advance for your Help and advice.
They are a pencil sharpener is also a can opener. It has 2 wheels that keep the center of the sheet. They have a slot into which you also sharpen on the right and left as well. The one I have is about 39.00. It works very well for someone who can not use stones, or file. Sincerely mill bastard file to hone the job well, he knew how to use then. All costs of just 20.00.
